Caucus of African American Leaders - May Meeting

You are cordially invited to the  Tuesday, May 10, 2016, 6PM(Doors open at 5:15 p.m) Caucus of African-American Leaders meeting, which will take place at the historic Wiley H. Bates Legacy Center, 1101 Smithville Street, Annapolis, Maryland. For those attending for the first time there is ample free parking  in the rear of the building. 

Kudos and special thanks to Caucus member Sarah Efreth, who will be providing complimentary food and beverage at 5:30 p.m. The program will begin promptly at 6:00 P.M. You are encouraged to arrive early, so that you have an opportunity to network and socialize. 

Our guest will include the Honorable Stacy Korbelak, President , Board of Education, Anne Arundel County and the County Executive's    Ms. Amalie Brandenburg, Education Officer, Office of County Executive Steve Schuh. 

We have also invited parents and students to attend this important meeting and we will be discussing policies and protocols relating to Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

In addition to these individuals, we will have on our agenda brief remarks from the Reverend Rickey Nelson Jones and the victorious  Judge Claudia Barber, who won the April 26, 2016, Democratic Primary and will appear on the November ballot for a seat on the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court.  

Also, updates will be provided on the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, Annapolis Police Department and other issues of importance to the community. 

As you can see, we have a full agenda. These meetings are open to the public. We hope that your schedule will permit you to join us on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Wiley H. Bates Legacy Center.
