This Friday, April 22, our speaker will be Pat Murray, Executive Director of the Maryland Democratic Party.  Some of you may have heard him speak at other events - he is everywhere!  Pat has a great resume in Democratic politics and has worked for both Speaker of the House Mike Busch and President of the Senate Mike Miller. 

Also joining us will be two candidates running for the position of Circuit Court Judge: Claudia Barber, Washington D.C. Administrative Law Judge, and Rickey Nelson Jones, Baltimore Attorney.  Both will be given an opportunity to speak about their qualifications and why they think voters should choose them to run in the General Election.  (There are 7 candidates running: the top 4 vote getters in the Republican Primary and the top 4 vote getters in the Democratic Primary will go on to run in the General Election.)  An interesting fact - election for judges, with the exception of Orphans Court judges, are 

"non-partisan.”
