The Maryland Democratic Party invites you to the kick-off for theMaryland Summer of Resistance & Renewal in Annapolis atLawyers' Mall on Saturday, June 3rd.

The Summer of Resistance & Renewal is a grassroots effort to resisting the Trump budget cuts to health care, federal jobs, public schools, poverty alleviation programs, and the Chesapeake Bay. Trump’s surrogate in Maryland, Larry Hogan, has been silent about Trump’s divisive agenda. Clearly,we have a Governor who does NOT care about the needs of ALL MARYLANDERS.

The Maryland Democratic Party is also focusing on renewing its commitment to ALL MARYLANDERS. Throughout the state, we are working on connecting with voters, attending community service events, and building up the infrastructure of the local central committees.

We will gather at Lawyers’ Mall where we will have the opportunity to hear from elected officials, union leaders, and progressive activists about ways we can get involved. We also ask everyone to bring a can or two of non-perishable food to share with families in need.
