Do-Something Dems,
The midterm elections and election for Maryland's Governor, the Anne Arundel County Executive and County Council, and our representatives in the Maryland General Assembly is less than two years away.
Elections are won and lost by the numbers: how many friends, neighbors, and voters can we engage in a finite period of time? The long-standing tradition of precinct captains - or community leaders engaging their neighbors and ensuring voter turnout, block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood - is a proven method of winning elections.
Join us on Sunday, March 5th to learn how to be a Neighborhood Captain and organize at the local level!
Help Wanted!
With the Annapolis elections right around the corner, a number of Democratic candidates need help organizing and managing their campaigns. While the D30 Club does not endorse in contested primary elections, we encourage our members to get involved in ways large and small. Are you interested or do you know of friends or college students who might be interested in serving as a campaign manager? Email Sarah (SarahElfreth@gmail.com) and we'll connect you with the campaigns looking for help!
