Voter Registration in the Latino Community
The Latino vote is more important than ever. Almost a quarter of the population of Annapolis is Latino and it is the fastest growing demographic. Historically, there has been low voter turn out from the Latino community in Annapolis and across the country. But this election year can be different. Given the anti-immigrant rhetoric and policy proposals from Donald Trump, this Presidential election will determine the course for the Latino population in the United States and Annapolis. Juntos Se Puede.
Led by D30 Board member, Marc Rodriguez, this effort entails doorknocking and tabling, primarily in the month of September. You do not need to be fluent in Spanish to help.
